Due to a clash with an imminent production by the National Theatre, we are unable to stage Seasons Greetings at present. In its place, we are happy to announce that we shall be presenting another Alan Aykbourn comedy Absurd Person Singular.

Weymouth Drama Club is an amateur dramatics organisation located in Weymouth, Dorset. It has been producing comedies, musicals and plays for seventy eight years. Performances are held at The Warehouse Theatre (the club's own intimate studio theatre) and at the Weymouth Pavilion owned by Weymouth & Portland Borough Council.
In addition to our adult membership, we also have a group for young adults and four separate childrens groups. We also have workshops and social events, mainly on our club night, Tuesdays, from 7.45 pm at our Warehouse Theatre.
The Club is open to everyone and all productions are cast by open audition. We also provide our own technical support with an extensive wardrobe and props department.
The Weymouth Drama Club was formed in 1931 and had presented plays annually since then, except for the 1935-45 war years. It presented the first straight play in the Pavilion Theatre after it opened in 1960.
If you would like to find out how to get involved with the club, or to find out more information on our productions, give us a ring on 01305 750050 or complete the online form.
