Blue Remembered Hills is a Dennis Potter examination of childhood naivety with a 'Lord of the Flies' twist. Written for an adult cast playing child characters, the play promises an exciting, insightful experience for the cast and audience alike.
That the play was written for an adult cast to play children's parts was written as a television play by Dennis Potter, and was broadcast on January 30, 1979 as part of the BBC's 'Play for Today' series.
The play concerns a group of silly seven year olds playing in the Forest of Dean one summer afternoon during 1943.
